About the Game
When an auction is “LIVE,” correctly answer a trivia question to submit
a bid. Trivia questions are quick and simple, and you can answer as many as you
need before getting one correct. (Questions are fun and easy - you know that Rhubarb
isn't a side option for a Combo Meal, right?)
Once you press the submit button, a bid is submitted, and the value of the prize
will go down by a predetermined increment of 99¢ or less. Increments may change
from auction to auction, but will never change mid-auction, so it's always fair
for every bidder.
Remember, we have lots of bidders participating in each auction, so each bid may
take a moment. We know there are lots of 99¢ Bid for Value fans out there looking
for great value, so we've changed some of our system capabilities and site functions
to offer an even better experience.
Now comes the fun part. The first bidder who knocks the price down to 99¢ wins!
Winners will be taken to a separate screen to verify their contact information and
will be contacted via phone by a 99¢ Bid for Value representative.
Troubleshooting
Didn’t receive your email registration? It could be that you registered with a misspelled
email address. Try re-registering with your email address and a new password.
Trouble logging-in? Try re-typing your user name and password, making sure that
everything is spelled and punctuated correctly. If your email address is correct
and you can’t remember your password, click the “request password” button
and i will be sent to you.
Does your game seem to “time out”? If so, someone has probably already
won the item that is up for auction. You should receive a message notifying you
that the auction has ended and play has been stopped.
